Links to download Savage Full retail version

S2Games are no longer supporting their game, Savage: The Battle for Newerth. They have made it FREEWARE.
As such, you can now download and play the game free of charge.

However, download links are sometimes hard to find since S2Games have lost most of their staff and the ones that are left have to redirect their time towards new games in order to keep in business.
As such, there are a lot of bugs still in the game unless you install a player-made patch such as the Savage Enhancement Project (SEP).
So, here are the official downloads, straight from S2Games.

NOTE: You must install the 2.00e patch from S2Games (link to download here) after installing the game, but BEFORE PLAYING it!

You do NOT need a CD key to play online anymore except with the Mac version.
If you are asked for a CD key after installing, simply enter 0000-0000-0000-0000-0000 (Windows or Linux version only)
or, if you have a mac, to get the game to work: you need to DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET then open savage while offline and type in this code when asked for a cd key: SAV0-00000-0000-0000 then connect to the internet again and go to view server list, and play. This defeats the CD key verification that vpltd use (different company than S2Games, they made the Mac version, not S2Games).
